At Sparboe Farms, we have an extensive environmental stewardship program. Sparboe’s barns are designed to minimize our environmental footprint. Our facilities are light in color and use energy efficient ventilation systems. Electric motors help power many of Sparboe Farms’ machinery, minimizing the use of fossil fuels. The feed used to nourish our hens comes from crops grown on local farm fields. The crops are typically fertilized with the manure byproduct from our birds.
