Second Harvest, a hunger relief organization serving Minnesota and Wisconsin, recognized Sparboe Farms as one of the founding members of the pallet of the month program. Through this program, Sparboe donates a pallet of eggs each month to Second Harvest. The eggs are distributed to families and other food banks in need of fresh food. Other members of the pallet of the month program include Ralcorp Baking, Con-Agra, Land O’Lakes, Dakota Growers Pasta Co., General Mills, and Kemps.
Second Harvest hosted a ‘thank you’ luncheon on Wednesday, November 28. The pallet of the month program provided 127,000 meals this past year and our participation is greatly appreciated.
